THE PRODUCTION OF TEXTILE MACHINERY
TMT deals with the design, engineering, sales and after-sales service of textile machinery.
The machine we produce are located in the last stage of the textile process: “textile finishing.” TMT has always been dedicated to dry finishing, while CIMI to wet finishing: both are aimed to modifying the structure of the fabric to make it pleasant and stable. In fact, these machines, which are used in dozens of companies around the world, create a noble fabric. Our production, 100% Italian, today has a total of 15 textile machine models, each dedicated to a specific function.
These machines are largely composed of mechanicals parts and then other electrical parts. Then, over the years, we produce parts for our customers to replace the worn parts, the so-called “revamping”, aimed at updating and modernizing the machine from a technological point of view.
In fact, one of our key services, is the after-sales support with the associated scheduled maintenance: every year our technicians carry out inspections on-site to upgrade machines where necessary, in Italy and abroad. In this way, customer’s production is not compromised, allowing the machines to never stop and to be replaced or modernized quickly.
From Italy to the World
Our textile machines once served the only area where they have always been produced, namely Biella, in
the north of Piemonte: the textile district par excellence, known throughout Italy and the world.
Over the years, with the development of the international market, requirements have changed: today our customers
are also to be found in the rest of Italy, especially in the north and Toscana, and above all abroad. We speak
of China, India, Turkey, the Middle East; and then England, Portugal, South America.
Today we are chosen not only by woolen mills, but also by other textile companies, which produce other
types of fabrics such as cotton, silk or polyester, without, however, renouncing the quality of a machine like
ours: over the years, in fact, our target has evolved together with our machinery.
Let us also not forget the eco-sustainability of our textile machines, which have been designed and
manufactured for years to be as environmentally friendly as possible, a feature that allows us to be highly
competitive in the market.
Our Secret?
Being located in the heart of the Biella wool district, in Valdilana: some of the main producers are our neighbors. This, compared to the competition, is certainly a great added value.
What we are experiencing today, in the 2020s, is certainly an important growth phase and we are more than ever ready to face new challenges.
